Cookie Policy
Cookies and similar storage QClerk uses to keep you signed in and remember settings
Introduction
This policy describes the cookies and similar storage QClerk uses. QClerk compares SEC filings. It does not run advertising cookies or build an ad profile.
What we store
Essential
- Session cookie. Set when you sign in, so the site knows the account. Signing out or deleting the cookie ends the session.
- sidebar_state. Remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is open. It expires after 7 days.
The site does not work as a signed-in product without the session cookie.
Preferences
Theme (light or dark) is stored in your browser's local storage, not in an advertising cookie. Language follows the URL (/ or /zh/).
Analytics
In production, and only when an analytics ID is configured, the site may load one of: Google Analytics, Umami, Plausible, or Microsoft Clarity. Those tools count visits and pages. They are not used to sell ads on QClerk.
What we do not use
QClerk does not set advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or social-media tracking cookies.
How to control them
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser, or block cookies. Blocking the session cookie means you stay signed out. Blocking analytics scripts stops visit measurement on that browser.
